TRKR Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This is the canonical privacy policy for the TRKR iOS and watchOS app. It is also readable inside the app (Profile → Privacy Policy).

Your data stays on your device

Your profile, biometrics, baselines, and every logged workout live in a local database on your iPhone. TRKR has no accounts and no cloud sync. If you opt into anonymous analytics, the only thing that leaves your device is the anonymous usage events described below — your logged training data itself is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes this data. One exception: workouts TRKR saved to Apple Health (when you enabled "Save workouts to Health") live in Apple Health, not in TRKR — they stay until you remove them in the Health app.

Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. When enabled, TRKR reads active energy, heart rate, physical effort, cardio fitness, cardio recovery, BMI, and workout entries to show what your body actually did — and, if you train without a watch, writes your finished workout and its estimated calories back to Health. Health data never leaves your device, is never sent to any server, and is never used for advertising.

Anonymous analytics (opt-in)

Off by default. If you turn on "Share anonymous analytics", TRKR sends anonymous usage events (for example: workout started, set logged, workout finished) to our analytics provider (PostHog) to help improve the app. These events carry a random app-generated identifier — never your name, email, location, or any health value. IP-based location is explicitly disabled. Turning the toggle off stops all sending immediately.

No tracking, no ads, no sale of data

TRKR does not track you across other apps or websites, shows no ads, and never sells or shares your data with data brokers.

Medical disclaimer

TRKR provides fitness guidance, not medical advice. Consult a physician before starting any training program.
